All the drama aside, Azhar Hussain and the guys at the TTXGP motorcycle green grand prix have been busy busy busy. They’ve lined up an impressive slate of races and added the storied Road America to the calendar.

It’s hard to believe it’s not even a year after the inaugural TTXGP on the Isle of Man and we’ve got 12 races in four countries on the 2010 calendar and a world championship finale at Albacete, Spain in October. And don’t forget the electric car race slated for Paris in June. Do these guys ever sleep? Hussain tells us some 52 teams have expressed interest in racing, though not all of them might make it to the grid.

Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin is the latest venue. The 4.048-mile course has been hosting races since the 1950s, and will bring electric motorcycle racing to the midwest during the Suzuki Superbike Doubleheader weekend June 4-6.
