The BBM-1 is one of a few bikes totally designed from the ground up to be an Electric Motorcycle. It uses 48 volts of lifePO4 batteries to go 40 miles with speeds of up to 50mph. The bike uses two motors, a hub motor and a ‘boost’ motor. They bike weighs about 200 pounds. The builder hopes to start selling the BBM-2 for around $8000 for a standard model.
